RGNULites especially the State Boys Hostelites have their birthday celebrated in a special manner. The Butt Bomb Phenomenon!!!!
The celebration starts at around 11:55pm when the birthday boy, the unfortunate victim who has done a big sin of being taken birth on that day, is being pulled out of his room forcefully to the middle of the court yard which we have in our hostel.
Now the real celebration starts the self proclaimed gentlemen hold their guy in a very gentle position that each limb of his is being turned into an angle of 45 (like that Mongolian Emperor Attila used to tear apart his enemies). Remember Vitruvian Man?????
The B-boy is being thrown into the air that number of times equal to his age. Each time when he lands back on to the hands of these primitive men, a stone hard kick is being landed in his whole of his back body (including the private parts). Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!!
This continues till the victim vomits all the milk he has been drinking since he was born.
AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Bachaoooooo!!!!!!!
The action continues the cake facial the cake which is said to be bought for cutting is beautifully smashed on the victim’s face and shaving cream on the victim’s head. Imagine the guy’s plight; licking one own face…..Cho chweeeet…..hain na?????
There are some extra masala also…..
Catching hold of some guy beating the hell out of him till he agrees that it is his birthday. Poor chap, but then he will be crawling to his room. This is what you call birthday blast!!!!!!!
RGNUL +Birthday = Terror
Birthday won’t bee same anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Confession: I am writing this post, couple of hours before the start of my so called birthday celebrations. There is saying in Bible
‘For sins that you do in this life, you will get the punishment in this life itself’
Amen!

After a hectic 60 hrs of moot court preparations and delivering the arguments in the dais today morning, a breath of relaxation for the time being. Many a times I feel like hitting mi head on the floor for releasing the pressure. Once u start reading law books, u can’t get full immersed like you are with Harry potter or Chetan bhagath. There is somewhere an inhibition inside our mind which resists us from going deep into it. Some formality, some unusualness……………..
Even though during those dark hours, I had some precious moments with my friends, ‘Nigga’ and Mani. We just discussed about home and about Mani who is repairing all the holes in his wallet. (Strict order from gharwallom, I suppose)
Niger was proudly speaking about pro-nazi, anti-black attitude. He loves being evil and he claims to be next Satan. (Secret: He even thought of stealing some other guy’s notes which he had prepared for mooting….intellectual property rights infringement)
U can find more about Nitin sharma aka nigga@
numberfail.wordpress.com
Every time we hear a train passing by is there an inner call deep from our heart. The sound of wheels is an echo of our heartbeat. That homely food, cool breeze and that nap in the backyard AHHHHH……….
We wait for exams but the calendar gives you a malicious grin. We wait and wait for that day that we will put last full stop to our papers.
But do you feel an air of blankness even in your home also????? Have you ever had the feeling of loneliness and despair?????
The crappy hostel food, all the bad jokes and rape attempts (A boy’s hostel secret) is being missed.
In Malayalam we have a proverb ‘akare ninnal ekare pacha’
It means when you are in one side of the world you feel the other is better. And this urge for more is indeed the driving force of all of us.
Sorry for being ultra-philos………….
We love the hostels and they are some memories which are the system files of our life which can’t be deleted…………………..

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE VIVAS
Even teachers were helpless when the mass attack started around 1:30 in the night. The night was full of roars and the braking of glasses. It all started with two of vikram college guys hit a rgnul 3rd year student. All the 3rd years called for attack and the first years responded to it. All the rgnulians were on the one west side of the hostel with the entire armory they have got. Below Vikram College guys was also preparing for an attack but as soon as they came to know that they are small in number. With in minutes we were in downstairs attacking the rooms of the villains.
This grt incident may be one shameful incident for many of the officials. But this is one glorious incident which showed unity among the RGNUL walas.
The latest news is that the BAD guys have warned all those who have took the attack to their doors. It is reported that many who was in the forefront during the attack was crying with fear and went underground for help.
Much and much more to come…….
Keep n touch

History: A bad story
Open Vivas today!!!!
After the marathon 2hr history class, we were enjoying every moment we got, by clapping at any thing funny and making shoo-shoo noises at anything and everything.
that meant double effect, humiliating you before everyone plus less marks for you.
Its like the set of KBC, remember the bachan show, which he used to face the participant in the hot seat. The most worst part is announcement of marks.
Until now no one has crossed the half way mark. All the first year RGnulians beware, the worst is yet to come.
LATEST NEWS:
Or history lecturer who is obscure for her benevolent distribution of marks, is trying to create history in project vivas also.

Projects,
these things make our life busy. A demon coming in the middle of every semester making our life difficult. The most horrible part is that it will take toll on your health and mind even days before the start of the activity. sleepless nights, hours of research will go for nothing if we wont get that smile or nod from our respected ones. It is an international phenomenon which students facing all over the globe. So cruel rit?
i just wanted to introduce you to mi world of project vivas, as there is an unwritten rule that when u start projects, Intro should be a must.
We had English and Sociology today.
However first day of our project vivas went in a decent manner. Luckily we weren’t screwed as many others were.
Socio started in a shaky manner. Of course me making the mistake. she asked me about the definition of the title, which i wasn’t able to deliver it satisfactorily. Even my body and mind was taking toll of the anti-biotic for my fever which i am suffering for two days.
But, mi group members came to mi rescue giving valuable comments. They started at the same spot which i was goin to end. Our group had some equilibrium goin on. At the end of socio there was a review writing about the whole experience. We had to analyze the whole project and vivas make our note of it.
Being her birthday, socio ma’am was in a jovial mood, hope it will turn into marks as well.
Anyway, English went off quite well.We had to do the review on the book ‘inheritance of loss’ authored by Kiran Desai. We just had to explain about the main theme. The book, a terrifying novel of the recent times dealt with one judge J.M. Patel, educated in Britan who is settled in kalinpong, a city in Darjeeling in the state of West Bengal along with his granddaughter Sai, his cook and his dog.
The story moves very fast, relating the developed Western life with the underdeveloped eastern village life, mainly in the background of India-Nepal insurgency which is apparently the turning point of the story.
I suggest you this book as a wonderful book which you should read if you have some interest in understanding the history of India without studying thick gloomy history texts. You may have some preconception that award winning books are always boring i can assure you that in this case it is different it only demand you perfect concentration in reading. It can take you to the ecstasy that reading gonna give you
Sorry, i messed up the whole post taking you here and there, forgive as this is mi first one.
To conclude, five things you should be careful when appearing for project Vivas
- Be consistent
- Be alert;don’t lose yourself on your way
- Try to approach the topic in the same way the person sitting before you does. Think acc to the teacher afterall she is the one who is gonna give you the marks.
- Don’t be stubborn;flexibility is the key.
- Be practical, don’t give hypothetical comments
- Don’t speak the truth, unless the situation demand it
